We are looking for a skilled and responsible Sortex Machine Operator for our grain and pulse processing unit. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring Sortex/color sorting machines to ensure high-quality output by removing defective, discolored, and foreign materials from grains and pulses.
The ideal candidate should have experience in food or grain processing plants and basic knowledge of machine operations and maintenance.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operations
- Operate Sortex/color sorting machines efficiently during production.
- Set machine parameters based on product specifications and quality standards.
- Start, stop, and monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production flow.
- Adjust settings as required to improve sorting accuracy and minimize rejection/wastage.
Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks on processed products.
- Ensure removal of defective, contaminated, or foreign materials from grains and pulses.
- Maintain product quality as per company and food safety standards.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance activities.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
- Report major machine breakdowns or maintenance requirements to the concerned team.
Safety & Documentation
- Follow plant safety procedures, hygiene standards, and PPE guidelines.
- Maintain production and machine operation records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams for smooth workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10th Pass / ITI / Technical Certification preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in Sortex or food/grain processing machinery operations.
- Experience in pulses, grains, rice, or food processing industry preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
