About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound IT Engineer to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network administration, system configuration, cybersecurity, software/hardware support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across office and project locations
.Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, and other IT peripherals.
- Manage and monitor LAN/WAN networks to ensure optimal connectivity and performance.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, and network devices.
- Maintain and support the organization's Intranet and internal IT infrastructure.
- Protect organizational systems against cyber threats through effective management of firewall, antivirus, anti-malware, and spyware protection.
- Perform system installation, upgrades, formatting, configuration, and preventive maintenance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, ERP, business applications, and licensed software.
- Ensure data security, user access control, backup management, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor server health, system performance, and network availability.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues within defined timelines.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, software license records, and service documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement, warranty claims, and technical support.
- Assist in implementing IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical support to employees and conduct basic IT awareness sessions when required.
Required Skills & Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Firewall Configuration and Network Security.
- Knowledge of Intranet Administration.
- Experience in System Configuration & Administration.
