- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, delivery performance, and service standards.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and other commercial agreements to achieve cost savings and value for the organization.
- Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders and procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, procurement records, contracts, and purchasing reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality assurance, finance, and operations to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
- Track procurement metrics and generate reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing practices, and applicable industry regulations.
- Support inventory planning and procurement forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support long-term business objectives.
