Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Procurement Head with strong expertise in GeM procurement, eProcurement systems, and government tendering processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing procurement activities through GeM portal, e-procurement portals, and other tendering platforms, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the complete procurement lifecycle through GeM and other e-procurement portals.
- Identify, analyze, and participate in government tenders, bids, and procurement opportunities.
- Prepare and submit technical and financial bids as per tender requirements.
- Maintain complete documentation related to tenders, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams for bid preparation, documentation, and compliance.
- Monitor tender portals and identify relevant procurement opportunities for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with government procurement guidelines and tender policies.
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage procurement negotiations.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records using advanced Excel tools.
- Track tender deadlines, bid submissions, and post-award compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GeM (Government e-Marketplace) procurement process.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in eProcurement and government tendering portals.
- Expertise in bid documentation, tender analysis, and compliance management.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reports, MIS, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, relevant to the job role.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling GeM, CPP Portal, State e-Procurement Portals, and other government tendering platforms.
- Strong understanding of government procurement procedures and compliance.
- Experience working with government departments, PSUs, or tender-based organizations will be an added advantage.
