We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our creative team.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Design Development:* Collaborate with senior designers in developing design concepts, mood boards, and space planning. Utilize software like Canva for presentations.
2. *Delivery:* Work closely with seniors understand the requirement and deliver exceeding expectations.
3. *Research:* Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and products to contribute innovative ideas to projects.
4. *Drafting and Rendering:* Create 2D and 3D drawings and renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and Enscape for immersive visualizations.
5. *Material Selection:* Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures for projects.
6. *Client Interaction:* Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design ideas, and gather feedback.
7. *Project Documentation: * Contribute to preparing detailed design presentations, construction drawings, and specifications. Enhance documentation with Canva's graphic capabilities.
8. *Vendor and Supplier Coordination: * Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and procure materials and furnishings.
9. *Site Visits: * Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent is being met.
10. Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Prepare BOQs to estimate project costs accurately.
11. *Design Planning and Detailing: * Pay meticulous attention to design details and planning to ensure the highest level of quality and functionality.
12. *Team Collaboration: * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
13. *Proactive Approach: * a proactive thinker who takes the initiative to follow up and meet deadlines.
Skills & Knowledge: -
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Enscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction and building systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A passion for interior design and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
