About the Role
Join our team in shaping the future of intelligent robotics. We are looking for a Senior Robotics Systems Engineer who is passionate about designing, integrating, and deploying advanced robotic systems that combine precision sensing, agile motion, and intelligent automation.
In this role, you will lead the development of next-generation robotic platforms by integrating cutting-edge sensors, motion control systems, embedded hardware, and intelligent software to deliver reliable, high-performance robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and system integration of advanced robotic platforms.
- Design and integrate precision sensor systems, including LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, force/torque sensors, and other perception technologies.
- Develop and optimize robot motion control, kinematics, dynamics, and navigation algorithms for agile robotic movement.
- Build and deploy robotic applications using ROS/ROS2, C++, and Python.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, embedded, AI, and software engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Integrate embedded hardware, motor controllers, actuators, and communication protocols.
- Perform system testing, validation, calibration, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements for reliability, safety, and efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, interface specifications, and design reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on robotics projects.
- Support prototype development, customer demonstrations, field testing, and product deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of experience designing and integrating robotic systems.
- Strong knowledge of robotics system architecture, controls, kinematics, and dynamics.
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Experience integrating sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, and force/torque sensors.
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
- Knowledge of communication protocols including CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART.
- Experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), AGVs, industrial robots, or autonomous systems.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision, SLAM, localization, path planning, and sensor fusion.
- Experience with AI-enabled robotics and autonomous navigation.
- Familiarity with cloud-connected robotic systems and edge computing.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
- Knowledge of robotics safety standards and industrial automation.
