Role Overview
The Architectural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing precise and detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and GFC (Good for Construction) documentation. The role involves supporting architects and design engineers in translating conceptual designs into technical drawings while ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with design standards. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with structural and MEP teams.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections for residential and commercial projects.

Develop and maintain GFC documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to approved designs.

Coordinate and integrate drawings with structural and MEP teams to resolve design inconsistencies.

Maintain revision logs, drawing registers, and archives for version control and documentation accuracy.

Support architects in preparing presentation drawings, working details, and as-built documentation.

Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company quality procedures.
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in Architecture or CAD Drafting.

4–6 years of experience in architectural drafting within the building or construction sector.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.

Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methods.
