About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive / Technical Lead – Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead and scale AI capabilities across technology initiatives and client engagements.
This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for an AI professional who can combine strong hands-on AI/ML expertise with technical strategy, solution architecture, delivery leadership, client engagement, innovation, and team development.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise AI initiatives and the ability to translate emerging technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and MLOps into practical and scalable solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI Strategy & Technical Leadership
- Define and execute AI technology roadmaps aligned with business and client objectives.
- Drive AI initiatives across Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, and Data Engineering.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate them into scalable enterprise solutions.
- Develop reusable AI frameworks, accelerators, architectures, and engineering best practices.
AI Delivery & Architecture
- Lead end-to-end AI programs covering architecture, model development, deployment, and production adoption.
- Provide technical direction to AI/ML engineering teams.
- Oversee MLOps pipelines, cloud deployment, model lifecycle management, monitoring, and optimization.
- Establish delivery standards, governance, technical KPIs, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure AI solutions address security, privacy, responsible AI, and compliance requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead technical discussions with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Understand business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
- Lead solutioning, technical presentations, proposals, POCs, and MVP initiatives.
- Support pre-sales activities, technical estimation, architecture, and solution design.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for AI adoption and transformation initiatives.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, mentor, and guide multidisciplinary AI teams.
- Support hiring and capability-development initiatives.
- Establish a culture of technical excellence, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Mentor Data Scientists, ML Engineers, AI Engineers, Architects, and related technical professionals.
Innovation
- Drive AI POCs, MVPs, accelerators, and innovation initiatives.
- Explore emerging technologies in Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and related areas.
- Contribute to technology workshops, industry forums, and AI thought leadership initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of significant experience in AI/ML leadership or technical leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- Strong experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of Data Platforms and MLOps.
- Experience designing and deploying AI solutions in enterprise or production environments.
- Proven experience building, scaling, or leading AI practices, teams, or Centers of Excellence.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
Good to Have
- Experience with enterprise AI transformation programs.
- Experience across BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, or other enterprise domains.
- Relevant AI/ML or Cloud certifications.
- Experience in an AI innovation lab, technology startup, product organization, or R&D environment.
- Experience supporting AI-led business development, revenue growth, or P&L management.
