Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Production Head to manage the complete manufacturing operations at our Kundli Plant. The candidate will be responsible for handling the complete factory, including production planning, manpower, machinery, quality, productivity, maintenance coordination, and timely production of steel and cutlery products.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of steel/cutlery manufacturing processes and production machinery, along with proven experience in managing an entire manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and supervise complete factory operations including production, manpower, machinery, quality and productivity.
· Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly production targets as per business requirements.
· Handle the complete Steel Line and Cutlery Production Line.
· Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, raw materials and production resources.
· Monitor production processes and ensure products are manufactured according to required quality standards.
· Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
· Reduce production wastage, rejection, downtime and overall manufacturing cost.
· Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch departments for smooth factory operations.
· Ensure timely preventive maintenance and proper functioning of production machinery in coordination with the maintenance team.
· Monitor machine performance, breakdowns and production efficiency.
· Develop and implement SOPs and production processes for improved efficiency.
· Maintain production MIS, daily production reports, rejection reports and productivity records.
· Ensure proper manpower allocation and effective utilization of workers and supervisors.
· Train, guide and monitor production supervisors and shop-floor teams.
· Ensure compliance with company safety standards and proper housekeeping on the shop floor.
· Take responsibility for achieving production targets while maintaining required quality and safety standards.
· Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
Technical / Machinery Knowledge
Candidate must have practical knowledge of machines and processes used in steel and cutlery manufacturing, such as:
· Cutting / Shearing Machines
· Press Machines
· Power Press / Hydraulic Press
· Grinding Machines
· Buffing & Polishing Machines
· Rolling / Forming Machines
· Blanking / Punching Machines
· Welding Machines
· Heat Treatment / Annealing processes
· Edge Grinding / Finishing Machines
· Cutlery Handle Manufacturing / Assembly Machines
· CNC / Automatic machines, wherever applicable
· Material Handling Equipment
· Other machines used in steel and cutlery production
Strong knowledge of production machinery, machine operations, process flow, troubleshooting and production efficiency is mandatory.
Candidate Profile
· Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant manufacturing/production experience.
· Experience in Steel, Stainless Steel, Cutlery, Utensils or similar manufacturing industry will be preferred.
· Should have experience in handling an entire factory/plant or large-scale production setup.
· Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery.
· Excellent manpower handling and leadership skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
· Should be target-oriented and capable of handling production pressure.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
· Must be willing to work from the Kundli Plant.

Ideal Candidate: A technically strong and experienced Production Head who can independently manage the complete factory operations, particularly Steel and Cutlery production, and take ownership of production, manpower, machinery, quality and productivity.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
