Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contract & Billing Manager to oversee all contract administration, quantity surveying, commercial management, and billing activities for a prestigious IIT Campus Construction Project in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in institutional, commercial, or large-scale building construction projects and be capable of managing client billing, subcontractor billing, contract execution, cost control, and commercial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete contract administration for the project.
- Prepare, review, and certify RA Bills and Final Bills for clients and subcontractors.
- Review BOQs, measurements, quantity take-offs, and work orders.
- Handle contract documentation, variations, change orders, extra items, and deviation statements.
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and commercial performance.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients for billing approvals.
- Prepare and maintain material reconciliation, cost reports, MIS, and commercial records.
- Evaluate subcontractor claims, payment certifications, and contract compliance.
- Support tendering, contract negotiations, and procurement activities whenever required.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices and follow up on payment certifications.
- Manage project cash flow from a commercial perspective.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and company policies.
- Resolve contractual issues and support claims management and dispute resolution.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
- 15+ years of experience in contracts, billing, quantity surveying, and commercial management.
- Experience in Institutional, Educational Campus, Commercial Buildings, Government Projects, Hospitals, or Large Civil Construction Projects.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC/contract clauses, billing procedures, and commercial documentation.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
