About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Australian Accounting team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in Indian accounting and taxation. The selected candidate will be trained and work on Australian bookkeeping assignments for our overseas clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for Australian clients using cloud-based accounting software.
- Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and supplier transactions.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end bookkeeping activities.
- Coordinate with senior accountants and clients to obtain required financial information.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracy.
- Understand and follow Australian accounting procedures, compliance requirements, and internal processes.
- Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards.
Candidate Requirements Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- Indian Accounting
- GST Return Filing
- Income Tax Return (ITR) Filing
- TDS Return Filing
- Experience in Australian Accounting or Bookkeeping will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com
- M.Com
- MBA (Finance)
- CA Dropout
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to learn Australian accounting standards and cloud-based accounting applications.
