Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our steel fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, assembly drawings, and production drawings based on customer requirements and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings for steel structures, sheet metal components, cable trays, industrial enclosures, platforms, and structural components.
- Create shop drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings.
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Project teams for drawing clarification and revisions.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material requirement details.
- Maintain drawing revision records and document control.
- Support CNC Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding, and Fabrication departments with production drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and customer specifications.
- Update and modify drawings based on site or customer feedback.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication and structural fabrication drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding symbols, and sheet metal development.
- Familiarity with BOM preparation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Steel Fabrication Industry.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, Tekla, Inventor, or other design software.
- Experience in PEB, Structural Steel, Sheet Metal Fabrication, or Industrial Equipment Manufacturing.
Pay: ₹10,181.30 - ₹37,234.94 per month
