Overview:
This position is responsible to work within the Sourcing and Market Intelligence team on various categories & commodities and also manage project-based sourcing/procurement activities. Selected candidate will work on assigned categories by collecting, analyzing and recommending various strategy options to category & commodity leaders and conduct discussions with suppliers for sourcing events including RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, negotiation and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report SLA/KPI’s/Savings as per agreed methodology

Technical use of the tendering tool

Delivering best in class, end to end, sourcing/procurement events in the scope (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs)

Work closely with market stakeholders and suppliers to ensure deep understanding of requirements, build credibility & trust, and phasing of support request to build a solid execution plan.

Partner with category & commodity managers in the collection, tracking, analysis & reporting for Market Intelligence service Vertical

Ensure complete and correct local/global reports and analysis provided & shared with internal stakeholders as per the agreed frequency

Lead workshops with users to find opportunities for improved/efficient reporting and align work plan

Maintaining and developing supply chain data, market analysis and business intelligence activities for key indirect categories

Conducting spend analysis, full value chain supply, demand, trade and price analysis generating short term (weekly) and longer term forecasts

Conveying market research and analysis to internal clients (Category leads, Commodity COEs) through written communications

Responsible for daily monitoring of relevant category/commodity markets as well as key categories and communicate implications of market developments to category & commodity leads
Qualifications:
- Strong background in Sourcing and Procurement (7-10 years), preferably within FMCG environment and with proven track record in IT, Professional Services and indirects procurement including sourcing and contracting processes, market intelligence and/or outsourcing initiatives.

Overall excellent knowledge of procurement processes and category sourcing approaches in best-in-class procurement organizations and ability to implement them in complex environment.

Good business acumen, knowledge of financial fundamentals, and excellent analytical and computer/systems skills.

Strong internal customer management skills: capacity to listen, understand and capture internal clients’ needs and deliver appropriate solutions.

Work experience as a Research Analyst in indirect segments

Must be able to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual fundamental reports on various categories and commodities on regular basis.

Must be able to analyse the impact of global political / economic / geographical events on categories/commodities and accordingly support commodity buyers on their decision making.
