Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion strategy. The primary focus will be to build a strong partner network &* Manage Distribution Channel, onboard schools and students, drive registration campaigns, corporate partnerships, and manage a high-performing team*. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in education, ed-tech, or related service industries, with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
1. Build & Manage Partner Network & Distribution Channel
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with educational consultants, coaching centers, NGOs, government bodies, and ed-tech platforms.
- Establish channel partner programs with clear incentive structures, SLAs, and performance reviews.
- Nurture long-term relationships to ensure recurring business and referrals.2. Onboard Schools & Students3. Registration Drive4. Corporate Partnerships5. Team Management
- Lead end-to-end acquisition of K-12 schools, junior colleges, and vocational training institutes.
- Design and execute school engagement plans (workshops, seminars, principal meets) to drive student enrollments.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for number of schools onboarded and student conversion rates.
- Plan and execute large-scale registration drives (offline/online) in target geographies.
- Coordinate with marketing for lead generation campaigns (events, webinars, social media, field activities).
- Track registration funnel from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring data integrity and timely follow-ups.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate HR and CSR heads for student internships, placements, sponsorships, and skill development programs.
- Develop B2B offerings (corporate training, assessment services) and negotiate agreements.
- Organize corporate connect events, career fairs, and guest lectures to enhance brand visibility.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Business Development Managers, Regional Heads, and Onboarding Executives.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, conduct regular reviews, and drive a high-performance culture.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment with marketing, operations, and product teams.
