Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Mechanical Design to lead the mechanical design team and manage end-to-end design activities for conveyor and material handling projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mechanical design, project execution, team leadership, and customer coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities for conveyor and material handling projects.
- Review customer requirements, specifications, layouts, and technical documents.
- Develop concept designs, detailed drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Plan and allocate design resources to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Automation, and Site teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Mechanical Design Engineers.
- Review designs for quality, accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with standards.
- Drive design standardization, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in customer technical discussions and resolve design-related queries.
- Support sales teams during technical proposals and customer presentations.
- Ensure proper engineering documentation, revision control, and ISO compliance.
- Support installation, commissioning, and project execution when required.

- Experience in Conveyor Systems, Material Handling, or Industrial Automation is preferred.
- Candidates from Conveyor Systems, Material Handling, Automotive, Warehouse Automation, or Logistics Automation industries are preferred.
Travel
Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally for customer meetings, site visits, design reviews, and commissioning support.
