The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and increasing revenue. The role involves strategic planning, lead generation, sales execution, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Strategy
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships
- Develop and implement growth strategies
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity
- Create sales plans aligned with company goals
2. Lead Generation & Sales
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and digital channels
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Prepare and deliver client presentations and proposals
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Understand client needs and offer customized solutions
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
4. Revenue & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Track sales performance and report on KPIs
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline
5. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams
- Provide feedback to improve services and offerings
- Support campaign planning and execution

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in business development or sales

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
