Position Overview:
The Electro Hydraulic Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electro-hydraulic systems used in automotive equipment, vehicles, hydraulic machinery, lifting systems, and special-purpose vehicles. The role requires strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical control systems, PLCs, sensors, and automation to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop electro-hydraulic circuits for automotive applications.
· Prepare hydraulic circuit diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
· Select hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, filters, and accumulators.
· Integrate electrical control systems with hydraulic equipment.
· Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI, and control systems where required.
· Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, electrical, and automation-related issues.
· Perform testing, commissioning, and validation of electro-hydraulic systems.
· Coordinate with design, production, quality, procurement, and service teams during project execution.
· Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
· Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
· Prepare technical reports, SOPs, maintenance manuals, and inspection reports.
· Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.
· Ensure adherence to safety standards and company quality procedures
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
3-8 years of experience in electro-hydraulic systems within the automobile or automotive manufacturing industry.
· Experience in hydraulic circuit design and troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of automotive hydraulic applications is preferred.
Technical Skills
· Strong knowledge of hydraulic power packs and hydraulic circuits.
· Understanding of proportional and servo hydraulic systems.
· Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, relays, and electrical control panels.
· Ability to read hydraulic and electrical drawings.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar CAD software.
· Knowledge of electrical wiring and control logic.
· Understanding of CAN Bus communication is an added advantage.
· Familiarity with automotive quality systems such as IATF 16949 is preferred.
· Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Salary
As per company standards and candidate experience. (8 to 10 lac)
