In this role, you will act as our internal "nose" and technical gatekeeper. You will combine a strong olfactory aptitude with basic chemistry knowledge to test raw fragrance shipments, evaluate new supplier samples, ensure strict labeling compliance, and maintain technical communication with our fragrance houses.
Key Responsibilities

- Labeling & Regulatory Compliance: Review and cross-check supplier documentation (including IFRA certificates, MSDS sheets, and allergen statements) to ensure all retail labeling requirements are strictly met.
- Supplier Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact with fragrance suppliers. Stay updated on the latest industry technologies, scent trends, and regulatory updates.
- Documentation: Maintain an organized library of master fragrance standards, batch retention samples, and QC log sheets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Perfumery/Sensory Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, raw material testing, or sensory evaluation within the fragrance, cosmetics, essential oils, or consumer goods industry.

- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with fragrance technical documentation (COA, MSDS, IFRA guidelines).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle inquiries, quality rejections, and technical updates with professional fragrance suppliers.
