Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Optimization & Placement: Strategically manage daily vehicle scheduling, route planning, and timely placement for over 100 trucks across Maharashtra and regional hubs.
- Market Sourcing & Network Management: Leverage vast market experience and existing vendor networks to source market vehicles during peak demand or specialized requirements.
- Simultaneous ERP Data Entry: Maintain hands-on, real-time control of the digital core. Accurately input and update trip logs, fuel tracking, route allocations, and consignment tracking info directly into the ERP system alongside active operations.
- Client Coordination & Documentation: Liaison closely with client dispatch teams (L&T, Godrej, etc.) to ensure seamless execution, and oversee the error-free digital entry of billing data and Proof of Delivery (POD) statuses.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for on-road challenges, driver coordination, and route deviations, while ensuring all changes are immediately audited and updated in the system.
Requirements & Key Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of solid, hands-on experience in Traffic Management, Fleet Operations, or Transport Scheduling within the Bhiwandi/Thane region or major logistics hubs.
- Market Savvy: Deep knowledge of regional routes, local transport market rates, driver behavior, and vendor management.
- The "Dual-Role" Capability: Must be a smart, agile multi-tasker who can manage chaotic ground-level dispatch conversations while maintaining disciplined, real-time data entry habits.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with Logistics ERP software and comfortable using MS Excel for quick operational summaries and filtering.
- Problem-Solving: Sharp negotiation skills, crisis management abilities, and an eye for strict data accuracy.
