Job Description
We are hiring a Design Engineer (Solar) to handle system design, drawings, and technical coordination for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The role involves working closely with sales and execution teams to ensure accurate and compliant designs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare solar layout drawings, SLDs, GA drawings, and BOMs
- Perform system sizing, load calculations, and generation estimates
- Conduct shadow analysis and feasibility checks
- Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, and safety standards
- Support sales with pre-sales designs and technical inputs
- Provide execution drawings and design clarifications to site teams
- Maintain proper design documentation and revisions
Requirements
- BE / BTech in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy
- 1–4 years of experience in solar design / EPC
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, modules, and structures
- Knowledge of PVsyst / Helioscope is a plus
- Good communication and coordination skills
