Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Hospital Receptionist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals in a courteous and professional manner.
- Register patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Verify patient information and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Handle billing-related inquiries and collect payments, if required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with hospital policies.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and report preparation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
