Job Description:
Space Stasis Architects is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Architect to join our team. As a Junior Architect, you will be responsible for providing design and technical support to our team of architects and designers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop and create design concepts and drawings
- Participate in site visits and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, and elevations
- Prepare and manage project schedules
- Participate in team meetings and assist with project coordination
- Contribute to the development of design proposals
- Provide technical assistance during the construction phase
- Assist with research on materials, building codes, and other design-related topics
- Maintain accurate and organized project files and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 0-2 years of experience in an architectural firm
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with sustainable design is a plus
