Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (AS / Ind AS).
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
Good understanding of manufacturing accounting and costing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Detail JD as below:
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions in ERP
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of books.
Trial Balance (TB) review, analysis, and monthly freezing.
Pass necessary journal entries, including period-end provisions and prepaid adjustments.
Maintain proper cost centre and profit centre accounting.
2. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Prepare MIS reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards (AS) / Ind AS / Indian GAAP.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance (India)
Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxes (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
Monitor and control timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.) and TDS returns.
Ensure timely statutory payments (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
Assist in advance tax computation and tax planning.
Support tax assessments and departmental notices.
4. Audit & Compliance
Handle Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, and Due Diligence processes.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely submission of required data.
Assist in preparation of schedules and reconciliations for audits.
5. Treasury & Banking
Monitor treasury operations and fund flow.
Handle banking operations including Term Loan (TL) and Cash Credit (CC) accounts.
Prepare CMA data and liaise with banks for compliance requirements.
Verify and review bank interest calculations and charges.
6. Accounts Receivable & Payable
Monitor receivables and payables.
Ensure timely collection and payment cycles.
Review ageing reports and take corrective actions.
7. Costing & Budgeting (Manufacturing Focus)
Working knowledge of product costing and overall costing concepts.
Monitor Capex and Opex expenditures.
Assist in preparation of Capex & Opex budgets.
Support cost analysis and variance reporting.
8. Payroll & Other Responsibilities
Oversee payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
Ensure timely closing of books.
Manage a team of 5–7 members and allocate responsibilities effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
