Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The position also involves defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating timely resolution of defects, all while fostering collaboration across teams to maintain seamless quality assurance processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
4 to 5 years of experience on the ServiceNow Platform
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Experience with the following:
o Mid-server maintenance
o Scoped applications
o Update-set promotion
o API integrations (OAuth and basic)
o Platform version upgrades
o Scheduled jobs and data imports
o Single Sign On (SAML)
o Custom Tables
o Catalog item creation and modification
o Workflow editor and designer
Demonstrated understanding of:
o Configuration versus customization
o CMDB/CSDM
o HAM and SAM
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Servicenow Tools Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
