Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Jr. Mechanical Engineer for our manufacturing plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for machine maintenance, production support, breakdown handling, and ensuring smooth plant operations. Candidates with experience in steel/manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Support production team for smooth machine operations.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed.
Coordinate with production and maintenance departments.
Maintain machine performance and reduce downtime.
Prepare maintenance reports and documentation.
Ensure safety standards and operational procedures are followed.
Assist senior engineers in daily plant activities.
Monitor utility and equipment performance.
Support installation and commissioning of machinery if required.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and plant operations
Understanding of manufacturing/steel plant machinery
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in plant environment
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in Steel / Manufacturing Industry preferred
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
