Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to handle domestic logistics operations, ensure smooth shipment execution, and optimize cost and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily transportation operations and shipment execution
- Plan routes, assign loads, and monitor deliveries
- Handle vendor coordination and rate negotiation
- Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
- Resolve operational issues and escalations
- Maintain MIS reports and ensure compliance
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- 95%+ on-time pickup & delivery
- 90%+ fleet utilization
- 5–10% cost optimization
- Less than 3% load cancellation
- TAT adherence for all shipments
- Timely resolution of operational issues
- 100% accurate MIS reporting
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in domestic logistics / transport management
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Good communication and team handling ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics tools
Performance Note:
This is a target-driven role. Performance will be evaluated based on operational efficiency, cost control, and KPI achievement.
