Job Profile – Management Trainee (Manufacturing – All Functions)
Position Overview:
We are inviting dynamic and motivated graduates/postgraduates to join as Management Trainees across key functions in our manufacturing operations. This role is designed to groom future leaders in the metals and power industry, providing exposure to end‑to‑end processes including production, operations, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and finance.
Key Responsibilities (Function‑wise Exposure):
- Operations & Production
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily production activities.
- Learn process optimization and efficiency improvement techniques.
- Support in achieving production targets with adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintenance
- Gain hands‑on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Support in implementing reliability engineering practices.
- Work with senior engineers to minimize downtime and enhance equipment performance.
- Quality
- Participate in quality audits, inspections, and testing procedures.
- Learn documentation and compliance with ISO/BIS standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Support procurement, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
- Learn inventory control, demand forecasting, and ERP systems.
- Contribute to cost optimization and timely material availability.
- Accounts & Finance
- Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Learn compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support in managing working capital, vendor payments, and audit processes.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Production) or Commerce/Finance.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work across multiple functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and basic industry tools.
