An established law firm based in Bengaluru East is looking for a skilled Civil Practitioner - Advocate with 2–5 years of experience to independently handle civil disputes, court proceedings, client interactions, and case strategy etc.
Job Title: Principal Associate – Dispute Resolution (Civil)

Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience in Civil Litigation.
Strong appearance and practice before Civil Courts and District Courts.
Experience in handling partition suits, declaration suits, money recovery suits, injunction suits, and other civil litigation matters.
Fluency in Kannada (spoken and written) is preferred.
Good knowledge of local laws, court procedures, and practices.
Ability to independently handle cases and day-to-day court activities.
Strong client handling, communication, and case management skills.
Ability to formulate and execute effective courtroom strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Independently handle civil litigation matters from filing to final disposal.
Draft plaints, petitions, written statements, interlocutory applications, affidavits, evidence-in-chief, written arguments, and other pleadings.
Attend court hearings and manage day-to-day court proceedings.
Conduct client meetings, gather facts, and advise clients on legal strategy.
Handle cross-examinations, evidence marking, sworn statements, and final arguments.
Coordinate with court staff, clients, and other stakeholders for effective case management.
Maintain systematic day-to-day handling and monitoring of assigned cases in an independent capacity.
Develop case strategies and ensure timely progress of matters.
Travel across Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural Courts as required.

Candidates who are unable to independently draft pleadings, filing, conduct arguments, or manage court proceedings in their individual capacity need not to apply.
Payout: ₹40,000 – ₹80,000 per month (based on experience, drafting ability, court exposure, and independent case-handling capability).
