The Voice Engineer will be responsible for maintaining Voice infrastructure including SBC and Broadworks systems across our data centers.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 4 years' experience working in a like role •
B.S. and/or related field a plus.
Required Job Related Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in creating Broadworks and SBC configurations complying to Global Security and Compliance Standards.
- Compliance and Vulnerability Management experience.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all network resources, key processes, reviewing logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
• Experience with building, maintaining, troubleshooting databases (MS SQL, Oracle). •
• Experience with tools such as Elastic Search, Thousand Eyes or other similar tools. •
- Knowledge of administrating/troubleshooting Windows/ESX/Linux servers.
- Knowledge of security compliance and risk management frameworks, such as NIST 800-53, CIS CSC, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
- Hardware EOL/EOS Management and Prepare the mitigation plans.
- Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Must have good experience with ACME/Oracle SBC, BroadSoft Broadworks.
- Solid knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, Codecs knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with vendors providing VoIP network components to the company. This includes staying abreast of new VoIP components or new features on existing VoIP network that could benefit existing or future customers.
- Interact with various inter and intra departmental peer groups to cooperatively achieve best results in all assigned tasks.
- Experience with VoIP security platforms, Robocalls mitigation, STIR/SHAKEN, VoIP troubleshooting Tools.
- Voice Traffic & Translation experience, full understanding on LERG updates and deployments.
- Good knowledge of Networking; TCP/IP, SFTP, DHCP, LAN, WAN, MPLS, Cisco Routers, Switches/Firewalls
- Good knowledge on Linux and VMware technologies.
- Proactively participates in the resolution of ServiceNow tickets by taking ownership of tickets, resolving, and closing with proper detail.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.
