Role Overview
The Business Development Associate plays a key role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to revenue generation. The role involves developing new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and target schools within the assigned territory.
- Generate new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through lead generation, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Convert leads into long-term business relationships.
Market Research
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence and share insights with the management team.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with school principals, coordinators, management, and other key decision-makers.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable educational products and solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and relationship management.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and activity reports.
- Track sales performance against targets and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and business updates for management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing, Product Development, Customer Support, and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements.
- Share customer feedback to support product enhancement and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members by sharing market insights and best practices.
Post-Sales Support
- Provide exceptional post-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address client queries, concerns, and issues promptly.
- Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevant discipline.
- Professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role.
- Experience in Education, Publishing, EdTech, or similar industries is preferred.
- Candidates from other B2B industries with relevant sales experience are also encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
