Job Summary:
Dedicated Shift Incharge with 7–8 years of experience in AOS (Alpha Olefin Sulfonate) or similar chemical processing plants, responsible for managing shift operations, ensuring smooth plant functioning, and maintaining safety, quality, and production targets. Skilled in handling continuous processes, troubleshooting, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor shift-wise production activities in the AOS plant
- Ensure adherence to process parameters, SOPs, and safety standards
- Operate and supervise sulfonation, neutralization, and finishing processes
- Identify and troubleshoot process deviations to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with maintenance and utility teams for uninterrupted operations
- Maintain shift logs, production reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- 7–8 years of experience in AOS or similar surfactant/chemical plants
- Strong understanding of sulfonation processes and plant operations
- Ability to handle shift responsibilities independently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DCS/PLC systems
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong team handling and communication abilities
- Knowledge of safety practices and emergency handling procedures
- Supervise and guide operators and technicians during the shift
