We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our development team. The intern will assist in testing websites, web applications, and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional, usability, performance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using appropriate tools.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Verify fixes and perform retesting after bugs are resolved.
- Test applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Assist in API testing and validate API responses where required.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain proper testing documentation and prepare basic QA reports.
- Participate in the complete software testing lifecycle.
- Ensure developed features meet the defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Continuously learn and apply software testing best practices.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
- Knowledge of test cases, test scenarios, bug reporting, and defect life cycle.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and REST APIs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Jira, or similar testing/bug-tracking tools is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.
- Freshers and students pursuing B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or related technical courses are welcome to apply.
