Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and achieving sales targets for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and Industrial Water Treatment Solutions. The role involves lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiations, and order closures across industrial, commercial, residential, and institutional sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for STP, WTP, ETP, RO, UF, and Industrial Water Treatment Systems.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, references, cold calling, and digital platforms.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Follow up with prospects and convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, builders, industries, facility management companies, and end-users.
- Ensure timely response to customer inquiries and service requests.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and identify repeat business opportunities.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Identify upcoming projects and business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams for project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities in CRM.
- Submit weekly sales reports, pipeline reports, and MIS updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil) or Science/Commerce with relevant experience.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in sales of STP/WTP/ETP, Industrial Water Treatment, Environmental Solutions, Pumps, Industrial Equipment, or related sectors.
- Freshers with strong sales aptitude may be considered for junior positions.
Required Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and report preparation.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and site visits.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
