Tech Skills You Must Have
Test Automation – Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
API Testing – Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Programming – Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
CI/CD Integration – Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
Version Control – Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Performance Testing – Exposure to JMeter, Gatling, or k6 is a plus.
What You’ll Do
Test Automation & Quality Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web apps, mobile apps, and microservices.
- Build and manage test frameworks using Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Create & execute API test automation with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Bug Detection & Prevention
- Identify, analyze, and track bugs with detailed reports and logs.
- Work closely with developers to ensure defects are fixed efficiently.
- Improve application performance by catching issues early in the development cycle.
Process Optimization & Collaboration
- Define and improve QA best practices across development teams.
- Automate regression testing to enable fast, stable releases.
- Monitor test results, analyze failures, and optimize scripts for reliability.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure smooth user experiences.
