Job Summary:We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Project Engineer with a strong background in civil infrastructure maintenance and industrial machinery installation. In this role, you will oversee facility upgrades, manage building repair and renovation works, and lead the safe, precise installation, alignment, and commissioning of heavy machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machinery Installation & Commissioning: Coordinate the end-to-end installation of new industrial machinery and equipment, including foundation preparation, mechanical alignment, utility hookups, and trial runs in collaboration with technical vendors.
- Building Repairs & Facility Maintenance: Manage structural repairs, civil renovation projects, and routine maintenance of plant or building infrastructure to ensure a safe, compliant, and optimal working environment.
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project timelines, resource allocation plans, and scope of work documents for installation and repair initiatives.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise external contractors, technicians, and service providers, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project deadlines, and site protocols.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with local building and industrial codes.
- Documentation & Troubleshooting: Maintain detailed engineering logs, installation manuals, maintenance schedules, and provide rapid troubleshooting support for equipment or structural bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in project engineering, plant maintenance, or industrial construction environments.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising machinery installation, shop floor layout planning, and mechanical/electrical integration.
- Proven track record in managing building repair works, structural maintenance, and civil improvement projects.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and blueprint/CAD drawing interpretation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to manage multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
Pay: ₹441,232.54 - ₹555,856.53 per year
