Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Quality Control Engineer to join our QA/QC team. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day quality inspection activities across incoming raw materials, in-process welding/fabrication stage inspections, and final product dimensions before shipment. You will work closely with shop-floor technicians, welders, and production managers to ensure all products conform to project drawings, standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspection & Stage Checking
· Perform incoming material inspections (Laser Cutting/Bending Material, Bought out items) against Drawings and purchase specifications.
· Conduct dimensional and visual inspections at various production stages (cutting, fitting, assembly, and welding).
· Maintain records, reports & compliance documentation.
· Inspect fit-ups before welding operations.
2. Testing & Documentation
· Maintain Inspection reports, Stage Inspection Reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
· Maintain and update daily Quality Management System (QMS) documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
· Support senior QA personnel and assist auditors during internal ISO audits and external third-party ISO recertification/surveillance audits.
Key Skills & Qualifications
· Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production Engineering.
- Experience: 1 - 1.5 years of experience in fabrication, structural steel, or semi- automation industries.
· Technical Skills:
v Basic Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS documentation practices.
v Ability to read and interpret engineering fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
v Hands-on expertise using precision measuring tools (Vernier calliper, micrometre, Height Gauge, Slip gauges & other Inspection instruments).
· Soft Skills & Software:
v Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word).
v Strong communication & Documentation skills.
v Strong Attention to detail & Problem-solving skills.
v Ability to work with cross functional teams.
· Salary – (16000 to 20000)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
