Job Overview
We are looking for a confident and motivated Academic Counselor to join our team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for speaking with students and parents, understanding their educational requirements, explaining suitable courses/programs, and converting enquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with students and parents.
- Understand students' academic and career requirements.
- Explain courses, programs, fees, admission process, and other relevant information.
- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable courses based on their requirements.
- Follow up with interested students through calls and messages.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and convert leads into admissions.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with the admission and academic teams when required.
- Provide a positive experience to students and parents throughout the counselling process.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, inside sales, telecalling, admissions, or customer-facing roles.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a sales mindset can also apply.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing and counselling abilities.
- Comfortable working with sales/admission targets.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to handle students' and parents' queries professionally.
- Willingness to work from the Bangalore office.

Pay: ₹30,370.98 - ₹50,454.74 per month
