Job Title: Business Development Manager (Healthcare / Hospital)
Job Overview
We are seeking an aggressive, result-oriented, and strategic Sr. Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand our patient network, and build strong referral partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, managing relationships with referring doctors, hospitals and executing marketing strategies to increase footfall and revenue for [IMCH].
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of hitting volume and revenue targets in a hospital setup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase patient footfall (IPD) and hospital revenue.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and patient demographics to formulate effective growth strategies.
- Promote the hospital’s specialty departments (e.g., ENT, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics) to targeted market segments.
2. Referral & Doctor Engagement (B2B)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community doctors, clinics, and peripheral hospitals to increase secondary and tertiary referrals.
- Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminars, doctor-connect programs, and clinical workshops to strengthen network ties.
- Address and resolve any feedback or grievances from referring physicians to ensure long-term retention.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Track, analyze, and report weekly/monthly business development metrics, referral volumes, and ROI on marketing activities.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective corporate clients and referral leads using CRM software.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management is highly preferred.
- Experience: [3–7] years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales within a hospital or healthcare setting is mandatory.
- Network: An existing network of relationships with local doctors, corporate HRs, and TPAs is a massive plus.

- Healthcare Acumen: Strong understanding of hospital operations, medical terminology.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to pitch to high-level corporate executives and medical professionals.
- Negotiation & Persuasion: Proven ability to close deals, negotiate corporate tariffs, and influence decision-makers.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to read data, spot trends, and pivot strategies based on ROI.
- Self-Driven: High level of ownership, comfortable working with monthly revenue/volume targets, and willing to travel locally for field visits.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
