Job Summary
The ITI Electrician is responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, switchgear, and control systems.
- Perform cable laying, cable termination, and electrical connections.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLD).
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of transformers, motors, control panels, and switchgear.
- Perform relay setting and testing as per project requirements.
- Test and maintain electrical equipment such as CT (Current Transformer), PT (Potential Transformer), Lightning Arrester (LA), Power Transformer, and SF6 Circuit Breakers.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults using testing instruments.
- Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and safety compliance during electrical work.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment inspections.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments (Multimeter, Megger, Clamp Meter, etc.).
- Knowledge of relay setting, cable termination, and electrical maintenance.
- Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in transmission line, substation, or industrial electrical projects.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems and switchgear.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work at project sites and travel if required.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
