Position: Academic Counselor
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and target-driven Academic Counselors to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for counseling students, and the ability to convert inquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and counsel prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Understand students' educational background, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
- Recommend suitable courses, colleges, and academic programs.
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including application, documentation, fee payment, and enrollment.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students to maximize admission conversions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Stay updated with educational programs, admission policies, and industry trends.
Eligibility Criteria
For Freshers
- Any Graduate (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willingness to learn and achieve sales targets
For Experienced Candidates
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in Academic Counseling, Education Sales, Inside Sales, Telecalling, or EdTech Sales.
- Experience in admission counseling will be preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve admission targets.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills (English and Hindi; regional languages are an advantage)
- Convincing and negotiation skills
- Sales and customer relationship management
- Active listening and problem-solving ability
- Goal-oriented mindset
- Time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with CRM software is an added advantage
Salary : Freshers ₹8,000 per month
Experienced Candidates ₹10,000 per month
