Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design & Planning Head to lead the architectural design, planning, and coordination of residential and commercial real estate projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong architectural background with extensive experience in project planning, design development, approvals, and coordination with consultants and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and planning of all real estate projects.
- Prepare and review concept designs, master plans, layout plans, and working drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and landscape consultants.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, DCPR, NBC, RERA, and statutory norms.
- Review design drawings for functionality, aesthetics, cost-effectiveness, and constructability.
- Coordinate with liaisoning, execution, contracts, and procurement teams for seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project planning timelines and ensure timely completion of design milestones.
- Optimize project designs to maximize FSI utilization and project efficiency.
- Manage approvals related to architectural drawings and planning submissions.
- Lead value engineering initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Mentor and manage the design and planning team.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Architecture and Urban Planning.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM.
- Knowledge of DCPR, Development Control Regulations, FSI, TDR, and RERA.
- Experience in residential and commercial project planning.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in Real Estate/Construction.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch) preferred.
- Experience in handling end-to-end design and planning for large-scale residential/commercial developments.
- Strong understanding of statutory approvals and municipal regulations.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and team leadership skills.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
