The Software Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development/troubleshooting or debugging of moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Performs high-level design/modeling to convert stakeholder needs into software solutions. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Develops the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards and communicates to stakeholders.
Our Tools Team builds the critical software infrastructure that empowers our Platform and
Software & Electronics Systems (SES) teams to develop, test, and maintain our appliances. We
ensure our appliances are never "black boxes" by providing robust communication tools for
development and service. We manage the configuration tools that dictate how products operate
and oversee the systems that drive our CI/CD pipelines and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
Additionally, the team manages analytics for our smart appliances.
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our Software Tools Team. This is a
fantastic opportunity to build your expertise in C# and .NET while contributing to critical
engineering tools used by our Platform and Software & Electronics Systems (SES) teams.
Working closely with experienced mentors, you will help evolve our software ecosystem,
utilizing a robust stack that includes both our core .NET applications and modern web
technologies like React, GQL, and .NET Web APIs. You will be helping shape the future of our
engineering tools, which are vital to our operations.
BE IT & Comp 6+ years of professional software development experience, or relevant
internships/strong academic projects, with a foundation in C# and .NET.
Core Application Development: Architect, build, and deploy new features and
capabilities within our core .NET ecosystem to support ongoing engineering and platform
requirements.
- Configuration & File Management: Build robust logic to generate, parse, and manage
the extensive configuration files required for appliance operation and testing.
- System Integration: Ensure our core applications communicate seamlessly with our
broader, modernizing ecosystem—integrating with centralized databases, web APIs, and
CI/CD/OTA pipelines for software component tracking.
- User Support & Optimization: Triage user-reported issues, debug complex codebases,
and optimize application performance to ensure maximum uptime for hundreds of daily
users across software, platform, and factory teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with a wide array of engineering teams to
gather requirements for new features and translate them into technical solutions.
