Job Title: - Purchase Engineer
Job Overview: - Purchase Engineer responsible for evaluating supplier
offers, negotiating price and delivery terms for purchase orders, tracking
orders to ensure timely delivery, identifying cost-saving opportunities,
handling procurement of various components, coordinating with internal
teams, proficiency in ERP and Microsoft Excel, and possessing the ability
to interpret AutoCAD drawings with excellent communication and
negotiation skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
2. Negotiate PO terms on pricing & delivery
3. Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
4. Ability to identify cost reduction opportunities.
5. Experience in ordering of Pipes, Fittings, Bought - Out Items & Machining Components.
6. Co-ordinate with Stores, Production & Accounts Team.
7. Proficiency with personal computers specifically ERP & Microsoft Excel.
8. Ability to read & understand AutoCAD Drawings.
9. Exceptionally good in communication and negotiating skills.
Qualifications
Education level: - BE in Mechanical
Experience.: - 2-3 Years
Personal characteristics: - communication skills, leadership, Teamwork, problem solving and creative thinking
CTC: - 3 to 5 LPA
