IT Hardware Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Hardware Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer hardware, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems, provide technical support to users, and assist in maintaining a secure and reliable IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular health checks of IT equipment.
- Install and manage operating systems, drivers, and application software.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, switches, and routers.
- Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
- Maintain inventory records of IT assets and hardware components.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and procurement.
- Provide technical support to end users and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Assist in CCTV, biometric, attendance systems, and security device installations when required.
- Ensure data backup procedures and basic cybersecurity practices are followed.
- Prepare service reports and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 0 - 1 years of experience in IT hardware and network support (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, and switches.
- Experience with printers, CCTV systems, and biometric devices is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
