Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Resort Manager with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to oversee the day-to-day operations and infrastructure management of the resort. The ideal candidate should possess strong hospitality management capabilities along with hands-on technical knowledge to supervise maintenance systems, utilities, and operational efficiency across the property.
The role requires close coordination with guests, staff, vendors, and management while ensuring seamless resort operations, exceptional customer service, and proper functioning of all mechanical and electrical systems within the property.
Key Skills & Requirements
Technical & Engineering Skills
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is mandatory
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, water supply systems, generators, pumps, heating systems, and resort infrastructure maintenance
- Ability to supervise preventive maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues efficiently
- Experience in handling maintenance teams and coordinating repair works
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, equipment upkeep, and facility operations is preferred
Hospitality & Management Skills
- Proven management experience, preferably in resorts or hospitality operations
- Strong understanding of front office operations, housekeeping, food & beverage, guest services, and staff coordination
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guests professionally in both individual and group settings
- Experience in payroll, billing, budgeting, and expense tracking
- Familiarity with CRM systems and guest relationship management
- Experience in social media engagement, promotions, and marketing activities
- Ability to oversee inventory management, procurement, and quality control
- Multilingual communication abilities preferred (English is mandatory)
- Strong problem-solving mindset with proactive decision-making abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily resort operations including guest services, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and administration
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure systems are functioning efficiently
- Supervise maintenance schedules, inspections, and technical troubleshooting across the property
- Coordinate with technical staff and external vendors for repairs and infrastructure improvements
- Monitor generators, pumps, water systems, electrical equipment, and utility operations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, kitchen areas, and resort premises to maintain operational standards
- Welcome guests and ensure a high standard of hospitality throughout their stay
- Handle guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery professionally
- Manage reservations and maintain effective communication with guests, staff, and management
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and operational materials
- Oversee payroll processing, billing systems, and expense management
- Plan and coordinate guest activities, tours, and special events
- Supervise marketing initiatives and social media engagement activities
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise resort staff
- Maintain employee records and ensure efficient workforce management
- Ensure smooth coordination between all resort departments for a seamless guest experience
Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience in resort, hospitality, facility management, or operations management preferred
- Candidates with practical experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance operations will be strongly preferred
- Educational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
