Urgently required for the post of Milling Machine Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate conventional or CNC milling machines for machining components.
- Set up the machine, including job setting, tool selection, and alignment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Perform milling operations such as slotting, drilling, shaping, and contouring.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operation.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure adherence to production targets and quality standards.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain workplace discipline.
Skills & Requirements:
- Knowledge of milling machine operations and cutting tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of tolerances and machining processes.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
- Awareness of shop floor safety practices.
Qualification:
- ITI in Fitter / Machinist / Turner or equivalent.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in milling machine operations.
Working Conditions:
- Shop floor environment.
- Rotational shifts as per production requirements.
