The Bunker Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end execution of transactions within a technology-enabled ecosystem. The role requires close coordination with suppliers, customers, agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processing, timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Transaction Execution & Coordination
- Manage transactions through successful completion
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution
- Track transaction milestones and proactively follow up on outstanding actions
- Manage bunker delivery scheduling, documentation flow, and operational readiness
2.Customer Success
- Assist users with transaction submissions, platform navigation, and operational queries
- Drive platform adoption and support first-time users through the onboarding process
- Provide timely updates and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
3.Platform Trade Management
- Support the end-to-end management of transactions on the 129Knots platform through successful completion
- Monitor transaction workflows, milestones, and user activities to ensure timely execution
- Review and validate transaction data, supporting documents, and platform submissions for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain data integrity across the platform and internal systems
- Assist customers and suppliers with transaction-related queries, platform navigation, and operational support
4.Issue Resolution
- Monitor ongoing transactions and identify potential bottlenecks or operational risks
- Escalate critical matters where required and support implementation of corrective actions
Qualifications
- Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in bunker operations, shipping operations, marine fuels, or related trade operations
- Comfortable working with digital platforms and technology-driven processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment and support time-sensitive transactions
Pay: ₹213,410.37 - ₹982,674.33 per year
