Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to transform complex data into actionable business insights and predictive solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and statistical expertise with hands-on experience in Python, SQL, data visualization, machine learning and advanced analytics and MS Fabrics is must.
The role will work closely with business, technology, data engineering and leadership teams to identify opportunities, solve complex business problems and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities and business risks.
- Develop statistical models and machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical solutions for business stakeholders.
- Build forecasting, classification, regression, segmentation and optimization models.
- Use Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis and modelling.
- Clean, validate and prepare data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure availability and quality of analytical datasets.
- Develop KPIs, metrics and analytical frameworks to measure business performance.
- Apply statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, regression, clustering and time-series analysis.
- Support AI/ML initiatives, including model development, evaluation and deployment.
- Present complex analytical findings to senior management in a clear and business-focused manner.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve analytical models.
- Identify opportunities for automation and advanced analytics.
- Maintain documentation for models, analytical methodologies, dashboards and datasets.
- Mentor junior Data Analysts and Data Scientists and provide technical guidance.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 7–15 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning or related fields.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related discipline.
- Strong experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Proven experience developing analytical and predictive models.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience creating executive-level dashboards and analytical reports.
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.
- Experience working with cross-functional and senior business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts/data scientists is preferred.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
