Job Description – PRT Social Teacher
School: The Suraka School
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Studies subjects for Primary classes as per the curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities.
- Create an interactive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Develop students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, and environmental studies.
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage participation.
- Coordinate with academic staff for curriculum planning and school activities.
- Participate in parent meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field along with B.Ed.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Primary classes.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong subject knowledge and activity-based teaching approach.
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
