We are seeking a confident, dynamic, and articulate News Anchor to join our media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate, engaging, and timely news to our audience across television and digital platforms. The anchor should possess strong communication skills, a professional on-screen presence, and the ability to handle live broadcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present news stories in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
- Conduct live broadcasts, interviews, and panel discussions
- Research and verify news content before presentation
- Collaborate with reporters, producers, and editors
- Write and edit news scripts when required
- Stay updated with current affairs, breaking news, and trends
- Handle live situations calmly, including breaking news coverage
- Maintain professional appearance and voice modulation
- Engage audience through social media and digital platforms
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
- Proven experience as a News Anchor, Reporter, or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong command of Hindi, English, and/or regional language
- Confident on-camera presence
- Ability to think quickly and react during live broadcasts
- Strong research and storytelling skills
- Good understanding of media ethics and journalistic standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital news platforms or OTT media
- Knowledge of video production and teleprompter usage
- Social media presence or audience engagement experience
Work Environment:
- Studio-based with occasional field reporting
- Flexible working hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends
- High-pressure environment during breaking news situations
